Changing somethings around here.
Once again, after a couple ideas that I had didn't come about, I feel it's time for a minor change.
Not a big change to the show (there will be some changes, but not many), but a change to the site.
Again.
This time it's a move.
I'm fed up with having to manage the Drupal installation on this site, all the constant updates that it and it's modules need, and doing something so complex for such a insignificant show, so I'm moving to a truly hosted solution.
No more databases to back up, no more taking the site down for upgrades, no more fidling with useless modules.
Unfortunately, it's not all that easy.
I've still got to transfer content over to the SquareSpace, and there is no easy way to import Drupal into it. Plus there's the comments I can't transfer to Disqus and the forum posts I want to transfer to a new community section I want to build with Ning, but I'll slowly get that done over the next couple of weeks.
And I have some other changes planned so Stay 'tooned.
