I'm a big fan of Jack Baker, but unless Marcus Rush gets killed-off, we already have that type of character in The Shadow Chronicles. My vote's for Rem because his very existence defines a Robotech series. Zor, who is generally underappreciated or seen as a relic by the Purist fandom, means a whole lot to Robotech and is effectively the pivot-point upon which all Robotech revolves. Tie him in with the (no comment) idea of having the Haydonites be the main enemy, and one has got a serious fight on his hands.
